Growing Begonias from Seeds:
- Sow Indoors: Start begonia seeds indoors, 8-12 weeks before the last frost. Sprinkle seeds on the surface of moist, well-draining soil. Begonia seeds need light to germinate, so don't cover them with soil.
- Light & Temperature: Place seeds in bright, indirect light, maintaining temperatures of 70-75°F (21-24°C). Germination takes 2-4 weeks.
- Watering: Mist the soil gently to keep it moist but not soggy.
Care & Maintenance:
- Light: Provide bright, indirect sunlight. Too much direct sunlight may scorch the leaves.
- Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, but avoid waterlogging.
- Humidity: Begonias love humidity. If the air is dry, mist the leaves or place a humidifier nearby.
- Fertilizing: Feed monthly with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer
